Monroe County Bar Association 2007 Mock Trial Invitations Saturday, November 17, 2007 at the Stroudsburg High School and the winner is..................... Wallenpaupak High School! Each year the Monroe County Bar Association holds it's annual Mock Trial Invitational at a Monroe County School. This year the Invitational was held at Stroudsburg High School. A total of 17 teams participated in the 2007 Invitational they were: Delaware Valley H.S. -- who also supplied breakfast for all the hungry aspiring bards and their families, East Stroudsburg H.S. South, MMI Preparatory School, Notre Dame Senior H.S., Pocono Mountain East H.S., Pocono Mountain West H.S., Stroudsburg H.S., Valley View H.S. and Wallenpaupack Area H.S. All schools did an excellent job and we would like to thank everyone for their participation. Lunch and snacks were provided courtesy of the Monroe County Bar Association. Teams gathered in the Stroudsburg High School cafeteria to discuss strategies before the tournament started. MCBA President, Thomas V. Casale and The Honorable John Mark welcome participating Mock Trial Inviational students and the parents who support them. Many of the Monroe County Bar Association attorneys volunteered their time to serve as judges and scorekeepers. Mock Trial Student Attorneys present their case to the "Court". Other students support the Mock Trial as witnesses and observers. Objections are made and motions are granted -- Court is in session! The end of competition is marked by awards presented by the Honorable Michael Muth.
