The Monroe County Bar Association held it's
Mock Trial Invitational on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at the Pocono
Mountain High School East Campus. Fifteen teams from eleven schools
participated in the competition. This year's problem was composed
by the MCBA Mock Trial Committee and was based on the issue of steroid
use in high school sports.
MMI Preparatory School was the first place winner again this year
and received an award of $200 from the MCBA. Stroudsburg High School
came in second place winning $100 and Pocono Mt East came in Third
place winning $75.
The MCBA would like to thank all the judges and attorneys who took
the time to act as attorney advisors and scorekeepers for the competition.
