YLD Sponsored Relay Marathon
To Benefit the American Cancer Society

Young Lawyers Division's Relay for life Team held a bake and book sale at the Monroe County Courthouse on March 24, 2006, to raise funds for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Um, um, good! Doesn't everything look scrumptious? Now, bring on the customers!!

Relay for Life Team Members Amy Kruzel, Michelle Thoman and Carolyn Moser, set up for the bake sale.

Decisions, decisions! Let's see, what looks good!

Courthouse employees have difficulty choosing among the variety of delicious baked goods.

Security Guard Victoria ("Torie") Smith eyes the goodies after opening the Courthouse doors for business.

Members of the public check out the baked goods as they enter the Courthouse.

Carolyn Moser (R) received a donation of baked goods from Michelle Thoman as Amy Kruzel (Center) prices the other goodies. Meanwhile, Diane Dagger, YLD President (L) makes her purchases before all the goodies disappear.

There's nothing like blueberry muffins, chocolate chip cookies and a chocolate Easter Bunny lollipop to put a smile on your face. In the words of Amy Kruzel, "Who doesn't love a bake sale!!"

Is it the money rolling in that puts smiles on the faces of these Relay for Life Team Members; or are Amy, Diane and Carolyn just having a great time assuring the customers that everything on the table is "low-cal"?

The fundraiser was a huge success -- raising $429.25 for the American Cancer Society. The Young Lawyers would like to thank everyone who contributed to this worthy cause.
