"I Signed the Constitution" The Monroe County Bar Association, together with the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the National Constitution Center, sponsors the "I Signed the Constitution" program in which students in schools throughout the county are invited to learn about the Constitution and their rights and responsibilities as citizens. More than 2.8 million people have participated in the events held around the country every year. The program begins during Constitution Week, the third week of September, and runs through December. Participating schools have the opportunity
to invite local attorneys and judges to address the students on the
history of the Constitution and its relevance to their daily lives.
